Writing Projects

I don’t write with feather pen and ink - although I think that might be an interesting method. But I have been hard at work typing away on my computer.
The current significant projects I have on my desktop include the following: 1) the third novel in the Unraptured series (nearing completion of the first draft); 2) the ongoing Franklin’s America serialization on Kindle Vella; 3) a romance novel that weaves through time; 4) the first novel of a space opera; 5) a possible addition to the Eirgalon trilogy - although nothing has been written yet.
Having so many projects going at once is both a blessing and a curse. When I run into a roadblock on one project and need to ruminate on it for a while, I have other projects to work on. However, when I get back to the stalled project, I often have to re-read and re-orient myself to it. Of course, that isn’t all bad because in the re-reading I often find flaws and can work to remedy them.
Setting for the stories:
The setting for the Unraptured series is a group of fictional towns in the Upper Midwest of the United States - circa early 21st century.
The setting for Franklin’s America is Colonial America in the 1760s.
The setting for the romance novel runs from Medieval Scotland to present-day America.
The setting for the space opera is our galaxy, spanning many millennia in the past and many millennia in the future.
The geographic setting for Eirgalon is several centuries ago when early Celtic and Norse explorers touched America’s eastern shores. While there are some historical connections to our world, it is a story of myth and magic and classified as fantasy.
